I just found out about a very exciting series of “webinars” (seminars broadcast over the web) hosted by CDS, a national organization that helps co-ops.  They are happening in January and February (check our monthly calendar for more details), and are about how to start up a co-op! We missed the first one, but have the opportunity to listen to the remaining LIVE events online, including a Q&A session. There are five remaining sessions, and all of them occur before our large public meeting on Feb. 24. Talk about great timing!

I’ve already signed us up, and I’m planning on hosting the first one at my house. If anyone would care to join me, please RSVP to laura@kitsapfoodcoop.org and I’ll give you directions. The session starts at 10:00 am sharp, so if you are planning to attend, try to make it here by 9:00 am. I’ll provide breakfast and coffee, and we can have a discussion afterward.
